The past few weeks this super serious girl has been

such a little cheese!

She usually won't smile at anyone for anything!

She's a serious little lady.

Now we get this...several times a day.

Christmas Day

Kylee was sick with strep throat, so my handsome boys

had to represent at church.

The girls...well...we took a nap!

We headed to my mom's house and took Kamber's car.

Bree headed straight for it and settled right in.

Kamber didn't seem to mind sharing...at that moment anyways!

Only Alex can rock this fancy little number!

It was a good Christmas, even though I sucked at getting pictures of my Grampi and any at Rocky's parents house. Oops.

It was a good Christmas, even though it was a

small gathering this year.

My brothers and their kids weren't there, and

Bubs is off in the Ukraine.

Next year it's gonna be a full house and I can't wait!

Christmas Morning

These kids must have been really good this year

because Santa hooked them up Phat!

Todd got a DS and a 1500 piece lego set!

Kylee got a "girl" bike and a helmet.

(She's been riding what we call the "Red Speed Racer" bike that was Todd's since Uncle Troy backed over her bike with his car when we were camping. Oops!)

Kamber got a Cozy Car Coupe.

She LOVES it!

If you even look like you're gonna get in it she runs over and gets in.

Most of the time through the window!

"Thanks Santa!"

Christmas Eve 2011

We started our day by making cookies for Santa.

Sugar cookies with all kinds of sprinkles!

They were delish and the kids knew Santa would love them!

We started our night at my parents house...

opened gifts from Grami and our cousin exchange...

and ate chips, salsa, and chicken enchiladas.

Or in Kamber's case, just salsa!

Some kids just looked cute playing in a box.

Then we headed out to met up with all the Turner cousins.

The kids draw names each year...

and the adults play a mean White Elephant game.

Sometimes the gifts are nice, but sometimes they are a little naughty~ ~ ~or super silly!

Kylee ended up not feeling good and had a high fever (102.5).

Being Christmas Eve and all it was concluded she had strep throat like Todd came down with 2 days before and I started treating her with his meds.

I had them, and used them cuz I was not about to hit up the

ER on Christmas!

The next morning she woke up and said,

"Mommy, I'm feeling so much better!"

The meds worked --- I don't feel bad double dipping!

She has her own meds now after a little run-a-round from the doc.

Good times!

Santa came---ate---dipped---drank.

Next up...Christmas morning!

New Home

Because of this...

the little miss will have to find something else to climb.

It's not going to be my table though because the chairs have been relocated to their new home above.

My other kids never climbed on my table.

Kamber is full of new little surprises!

The binky I am quite fond of, since my other kids didn't take one, but this table climbing business is making me nuts!

Mushy Schmushy

I lucked out with Rocky.

He puts up with more from me than I probably deserve.

And I put up with his Xbox playing.

But that's besides the point...

I'm totally thankful that he became a permanent part of my life when he did.

We were friends for a year before we dated for 3 days

and decided to get married.

During that year we saw each other's crazy relationships.

Often times giving each other advice to dump the ding dong!

Because of this, we both saw each other in all different lights and I think that has helped us in our marriage a lot.

I'm pretty sure I didn't keep my best foot forward all the time, because I wasn't trying to impress him and wanting him to like me.

He married me.

The real me.

And he loves that about me.

And I love that about him.

Though I am more flawed than he is I'm sure!

So, I love this man.

And I know he was hand picked for me.

Lessons

Todd had to learn playing with cactus was not a good idea.

Me: Why'd you play with cactus?

Todd: I didn't see any pokies.

Had to learn the hard way that some pokies can't

be seen with the naked eye!

Rocky pulled about 100 lil pokies from his hand.

That'll teach him!

I try very hard to be mindful of the feelings and needs of those in my life that I love and care for.

Family, friends, VT sisters, neighbors, whomever it may be.

Those thoughts and feelings are not always reciprocated back.

And it hurts.

I'm tired of feeling hurt and sad over it.

But I don't know how to shut off those feelings to not care or push it aside.

I don't know how to let go of those in my life who for whatever reason don't feel the same way.

Weather they say so or not...

Actions speak louder than words.

I don't need anyone to tell me.

Family who do more for others than they do for family hurts.

Holding onto friendships that don't want to be held makes me sad and a little lonley.

Everyone likes to know they are loved and thought about.

It's the little things.

An email.

A Text.

A phone call.

FB message.

Unexpected visit.

Comment on a blog.

A little note.

A treat.

QT drinks.

I like to be shown I'm loved.

That I've been thought about.

That my love and friendship is worth something.

And it doesnt' have to be gifts.

It's just not enough for me to "know".

Even if we're family.

I hold onto things I should let go because I remember how it hurt.

Important things and events in our lives that went overlooked...purposly or not...are remembered and forever imbedded in my mind.

I have tried to step into their shoes and see things through their eyes, but I would never overlook those important things so it's hard for me to take that step in another's shoes.

So please, if be mindful.

We all want to feel the love.

Take the time to really show those around you how you feel, even if it's out of your comfort zone.

You never know how it can make someones day.

Even if your life is hard and you're going through your own trials.

Someone else is too and a little life lift just may be what they need.

And if you're ready to be done, just say so and don't leave this open ended emptiness.

I'd much rather hear that then to be left with the unknown of thinking that I did something wrong.

That's all.

Quite Domestic Indeed

A few weeks ago I bought 30lbs of Granny Smith apples.

I had this idea that I was going to peel and

can me some apple pie filling.

Well today was the day I finally put on my

big girl panties and did it.

I only had 5 jars (so much for being prepared!) and

had some pie filling left over.

So I made some apple cobbler for us and some to give away.

I'm quite impressed with my mad skills because this

apple pie filling is DELISH!

I saw a recipe a while back and wanted to try it since

I've never done this before.

It was super easy.

If I can do it anyone can.

Nintendo DS.

My friend said why not do the IPod touch since most games are free and DS games are expensive.

Kamber thought it was so funny to give me her binky and

then when I gave it back to her she was giggling like crazy!

We went back and forth about 20 times.

It was hilarious!

I think I'd giggle too if I was sporting a cute camo binky.

I love these little moments because she's not a super smiley baby so to see that makes me happy!

we took a trip up North to the Turner cabin!!!!

The kids played hard and built some sort of fort.

It got stormy and hailed on us!

The girls swang (is that a word) on the swing set.

And we went on this awesome nature walk where Kamber fell and scraped up her nose real good.

It was so much fun and we can't wait to go back!

12 Months

I can't believe this little lady is 1!

It went by too fast.

Infant to toddler in a year is just nuts!

I wish they stayed tiny for a little minute longer.

Stats:

20 pounds

28 1/2 inches tall

♥ sleeps 7 to 6ish

♥ 3 8 ounce bottles a day-morning, noon, night

♥ transitioned into 1 big nap most days (following in Kylee's footsteps!), some days she'll take two 1 1/2 hour naps if she gets up really early

♥oatmeal, baby food, dry cereal, mini choc chip cookies, goldfish, and Rigatoni is what this lil lady LOVES to eat

♥ Still a binky girl

♥ learned Peek-a-Boo

♥ LOVES to give kisses and lays her her on any ones shoulder for a little snuggle

♥ still loves to climb on chairs, the couch and up the stairs
♥ Loves shoes in all sizes, shapes and colors. If she can't get them on her feet she puts them on her hands. LOVE it!

♥ new words: thank you, Where Todd?, mama, dada
♥ has 5 teeth: 2 on top with a huge gap between them,
and 3 on the bottom

Selfish Minutes

For our Enrichment Activity for Relief Society we are doing a

get-to-know you game.

We asked several ladies what they would do if they had 30 selfish minutes in their day to do something they love to do just for them.

I started thinking about the things I would do that I never get to do.

The first thing on my list is to read in a nice warm bubble bath.

Next on my list is scrapbook!

So, on Friday I took some time just for me and went to a

2 hour class by myself.

I made 3 cute spreads of Kamber's first 3 months of life.

I remembered how much I love scrapbooking and how I wish I had more time to indulge in my hobby.

So I signed up to go once a month for the next 3 months.

I'm so excited to get her first year done and be

selfish do something I love to do!

It was a really good 2 hours and I think my pages

turned out really cute!

Now I want to know what you would do if you had 30 selfish minutes to do something just for you.

Ready....GO!

Month 10 and 11

Totally slacked on 10 month stats.

But it's my blog and I'm sure no one keeps up with it anymore.

FB is way more cool I guess...

One day I'm turning this bad boy into a book, so I need to keep up.

10 month stats:

Weight: 19 pounds

Height: 27 3/4 inches

This month Kamber got big!

She decided walking was way more cool than crawling.

She's been my earliest sitter upper, crawler and now walker.

Some other things:

♥ likes 2 more flavors of baby food---

pears and squash & fruit and oatmeal.

♥ 8 oz bottle 3 to 4 times a day

♥ two 2-3 hour naps a day---9ish and then 2ish

♥ loves the binky still. At bed time she holds it in her hand till she done with her bottle and then pops it in.

♥ learned to climb on the couch, on the chairs, on the stools, in the cabinets.

♥ tries to stand in the stroller, the shopping cart and the high chair. Strapping her in does no good because she twists out of them.

11Month Stats:

Weight: 20 pounds

Height: 28 inches

♥ learned to give kisses er french kisses

♥ says night night night

♥ 8 oz bottle 3-4 times a day

♥ two 2 to 3 hour naps 9ish and 2ish

♥ baby food and apple sauce 3 times a day

♥ loves little pieces of starburts---works wonders on Sunday during sacrament meeting ;)

♥ learned to climb out of the crib---she fell out the other day

♥ wants to cuddle and I love it

♥ likes looking at books

I hate that she's growing so fast.

She has quite the personality.

Feisty!

And boy is she a busy one!

Into everything.

I seriously don't remember my other kids being into so much.

Maybe it's been so long I forgot...

We are loving every minute of her, especially her

sweet huge open mouth smiles.

She's a year old next month and I'm so not ready for that!

First Day

The chickens started school today.

Kylee wanted her hair in piggy tails and Todd cried forever

last night because he hates his short hair cut.

I think they are both cute!

Todd is starting 3rd grade.

Kylee is starting 1st.

They are both excited and have good friends

in their classes this year.

As for me I'm going to be super busy with a few

babysitting kids and a full preschool.

The boys and girls wanted to watch different DVD's.

and crawling all over them.

This weekend we decided to head up North to some nicer weather.

It was so nice!

80's during the day and 60's at night.

PERFECT!

All the kids took turns riding with grandma.

Every time the quad started up all the kids

would go running for a turn.

These two cute girls are 2 weeks apart.

They enjoyed playing with each other.

More like Kamber sitting on Jane.

And the two of them jacking each others toys.

We did alot of chillin'....

being crazy, drinkin' soda, and eating junk...

chillin' some more...

being cute...

standing and trying to walk...

playing games...

and more games...

We took Kamber on her first quad ride in the woods.

She wasn't too sure.

Later we took her on the Artic Cat and she fell asleep.

A bumpy road must be a substitute for a rocking chair.

The kids went on lots of Artic Cat rides.

Troy also taught them how to drive it.

Uncles are good for that sort of stuff!

Abby fell asleep after a long afternoon of picking flowers.
Rough job being so cute, but someone gots to do it!

And Hannah...what's there to say about someone so stinking cute?!?!

Bree was the funniest little girl!

A pistol, but entertaining for sure!

We gave her some M&M's.

I think she liked them!

Putting out the camp fire.

We DID NOT want to be responsible for another forest fire here.

Up in Eager a few weeks ago there was a horrible fire that burned thousands of acres, took homes, and evacuated many families.

Lil' miss just being sassy.

For the most part she did pretty well.

Naps were a little rough.

Had to let her cry till she eventually layed down and slept.

She slept all night till 7am both mornings.

We brought a big blanket for her to play on and

she mostly stayed on it.

When she'd get off she realized the dirt and rocks hurt her knees.

By the last day she didn't care too much and got off and played in the dirt and ate sticks.

She found a tree branch and started peeling the bark off it.

Needless to say, we had a blast!
Troy's little family is moving to Utah.

This was a last hurrah before they leave.

It was a success!

We love camping, especially with our family.

These are fun memories for us and especially the kids.

Being together is the best place to be!

Cheesy, I know, but it's true!

We're gonna miss them, but now we have an excuse to hit up Utah in the future.

Hope they're ready for visitors!!!

My 4th of July cuties!

I'm a lucky lady that I get to hang with these guys all day.

We spent the 4th swimming at my mom's.

Eating shredded beef burros.

And way too much junk!

Lighting fireworks and playing with sparklers.

Never a dull moment.
We totally missed Troy, Brooke, and their kids...
and Drew and Tiffany and their kids.
But I don't wanna talk about that.

9 Months

Just when I think she can't get any cuter I capture this.

Isn't she eatable?!?!!

Rocky is convinced she should be the next Gerber baby.

He may be a little biased.

But can you blame him?

She's cute....and super sassy!

She is now 9 months old.

Time is officially flying!!!!

Her 9 month stats are as follows:

Weight: 18ish pounds

Height: 27.5 inches

This past month she:

♥ squats then stands alone

♥ decided sitting in the baby float in the pool wasn't so bad

♥ LOVES to play in moms shower

♥ sleeps 7ish to 7ish

♥ 2 naps a day, 2ish hours each

♥ 8 ounce bottle 3-4 times a day

♥ baby oatmeal, applesauce and sweet potatoes 2-3 times a day

♥ LOVES to stand in the high chair while eating

♥ twists out of straps when strapped in

♥ prefers to sleep in own bed

♥ holds and drinks from a sippy cup

♥ 2nd bottom tooth finally popped in

It took almost a month to bust in

♥ moved into 9-12 month clothes

♥ hits in the face

♥ giggles, smiles, laughs

Todd loves this girlie a bunch!

He's in her face smooching her all the time.

He gets mad when I tell him to stop because her cheeks smell like mouth.

I also really hoped Kamber had blue eyes like Todd.

I guess he'll be our only blue eyed child.

Don't get me wrong, I love Kam's eyes...but seriously how cute would her dark hair and blue eyes be? We may have to get colored contacts in the future....

JK I love her just the way she is.

I totally got off track here...back to Todd...

He always wants to hold her and gets her off the stairs when I don't get the gate up fast enough.

This morning while I was getting Kylee ready he took Kamber downstairs and when I came down he had the gate all up and ready to go.

Kamber was sitting at the bottom and I could just see her wheels turning on how she was gonna bust over the gate.

He even shares his cheddar fishes with her.

He's a great big brother to both of his sisters.

My girlies are so far apart that they don't get to match often.

But sometimes I find matching outfits and Kylee loves it when she can match Kamber.

Despite Kamber's weird face they looked so cute today!

I love my girlies and it's fun to buy them matching stuff.

8 months

Yeah, this pic turned out pretty crappy since I had to use my old camera.

I really need to go get my new one at my SIL's.

But I needed to document Kamber's 8 month stats before it got any closer to her being 9 months.

Here it is:

18 pounds

Height, don't know cuz I can't find anything to measure with.

This past month she:

♥ learned to clap-one hand stays stationary and sideways while the other hand does the clapping

♥ got a tooth and it was not a fun 2 days of teething!

Fever, snot, poop, crying, whining and oh the crying!

Thank goodness for Tylenol and teething tablets!

♥ fancies baby goldfish, Ritz crackers, and a sippy cup

♥ 8 ounce bottle 3-4 times a day-

don't let the tiny fool ya, she's an eater!

♥ baby oatmeal 2x a day

♥ sweet potatoes and applesauce 1x a day

♥ size 3 shoe

♥ loves to laugh

♥ crawls super fast and follows the kids around

♥ loves to turn off daddy's receiver

We love our little miss more and more everyday.

She makes our day more cheery.

I know how cheesy that sounds, but it's true.

We needed some spice in our life and Kamber is just that.

She's a handful for sure!

Just yesterday she climbed out of her high chair and

was kneeling on the tray.

Rocky grabbed her just in time.

She can't wait to get big and I want to bottle her up!

It may seem on the outside I have things all put together.

But really, I just fake it really well.

I don't tend to let anyone really know how I'm feeling.

There are times I do get my feelings hurt, feel alone, and that I don't have any friends.

I'm not the best housekeeper and I may not always be the best wife or mother and it makes me feel bad when it seems everyone else can do it and I can't.

I feel worthless, fat, unappreciated on more days then I care to admit to.

I don't share this for sympathy, I really don't.

I share this because I have been told that I have a seemingly perfect life.

The cold hard truth it that I don't.

No my marriage isn't falling apart, my children are healthy, we have a good job, education, our ward is great, our families are loving and supportive---well mostly...

But I have my demons.

The adversary know my weaknesses and He tests them daily.

I try my hardest to be a good friend, wife, sister, mother, SIL, but my efforts don't always pay off.

That leaves me feeling alone and unworthy of the blessings that I do have in my life.

I'm a pleaser.

Maybe I try too hard.

I know I'm not alone in feeling this way.

It's just hard when I know in my heart it's not the way it is, but when my head tells me these things it's hard to make my heart understand.

I read way into things.

I know I have been blessed in more ways than I can count, but this alone doesn't always help.

Good friends have come and gone.

And it wasn't something I wanted, it just happened and somehow I feel like I did something wrong and that I'm not liked, or that I wasn't good enough to be their friend anyways.

It may sound trivial, and I guess it is, but this is where I struggle.

It's been very hard for me to find myself as a wife, mother, and friend.

Many times I fail.

I hate feeling this way so I do put on my happy face and pretend I'm not about to have a breakdown.

My husband is very loving and supportive and he gets me---the things I need to get me through the struggles I have.

Because of this I am able to do a lot of things and be a good friend to those that need it from me.

And maybe this is why people don't always see that underneath it all I am still human and I struggle too.

I know when this is read it's going to sound silly.

I'm well aware of the fact that my issue and my problem really isn't a problem.

But for me it is.

This is my life and my reality.

Sometimes I think having a real trial might be easier than dealing with something so petty.

I tell myself this again and again, but this is my trial.

Feeling unworthy of my blessings and not good enough to have good things happen in my life.

The truth is, aside from the fact I'm not a good housekeeper, I do have a wonderful husband who loves me unconditionally.

I do have good friends who are there for me.

I have some pounds to lose, but I'm not fat.

I've been blessed to be a mother to 3 little cuties.

One day my head and my heart will meet and agree, but I'm not there yet.

I'm still going to have to fight my demons, the ones that tell me I'm not worthy.

I think I've shared this little piece of me so that we might be mindful of those around us.

Sometimes on the outside looking in it might seem someone has it all together, but everyone needs a little help sometimes.

Watch for the signs, the ones that scream "I need some help here!"

I'm guilty too, and I try everyday to listen, be aware, and be mindful of others.

They just might need a little of you in their life.

Baby was breach, Tiffany's water broke, so a c-section was had.

Tiffany is sore, but they are both doing good.

She's beautiful and we can't wait to meet her.

Sunday Snooze

Sundays are hard days with a 7 month old.

Our church is at noon, so she'll usually fall asleep sometime during our 3 hour block but for only about 40 minutes or so.

By the time we get home it's around 3:30 but she's not ready for another nap.

Around 6 she's ready, but that's almost bedtime so we try to hold her off.

She was such a grouch I had Rocky take her on a walk so I could finish making dinner.

Rocky got me a new camera for Mother's Day!

This is the first pic I took.

She's cute, but she's fast!

She was already trying to get it from me.

It's a Sony Cyber-shot with a 7x optical zoom, video, and

I'm thrilled with my new toy!

I was talking to a friend the other day and we started talking about the different love languages.

Men and women do not tend to think along the same lines as far as communicating their love for one another.

It got me thinking about how Rocky and I differ in many ways from each other in that regard.

I love gifts.

I love to give gifts to show those I care about that I was thinking of them and they are special to me.

My husband, kids, family and friends.

In our 10 years of marriage Rocky has probably surprised me 10 times with a thoughtful gift.

As much as I love a big fat kiss, I'd like him to think of something thoughtful to buy me to let me know he loves and cares for me or was simply just thinking about me.

I promise I'm not shallow and it's not that I need gifts, I just feel the thought behind the gift means I was being thought about and a particular gift was something I would like.

I also like thoughtful words or the love language
"Words of Affirmation".

When he tells me I look nice I appreciate that.

When he tells me the house looks nice, I appreciate that.

I love it when he tells me I'm doing a good job with the kids or a project I did turned out great.
And he does do this everyday and I do appreciate that.

Rocky loves affection or the love language "Physical Touch".

I'm not usually one to offer affection.

I'd rather buy him a gift.

And I do.

Yet he could care less if I bought him something special or not.

He'd rather a hug, hand holding or and a big fat kiss.

So, why do we tend to profess our love language on our loved ones?

Or am I the only one who does that?

We decided to start small since neither one of us has any idea what we're doing.

I planted lettuce on the far right.

Roma tomatoes and green bell peppers in the middle.

Pretty Piano

Several years ago we bought a piano from Rocky's cousin.

It was in need of some TLC, but alas, there is sat...untouched.

One day I was looking through a design blog and there were before and after pics of a friends piano.

That was all it took.

I called the girl that refinished it and had her come do mine.

I LOVE it!

Now maybe I'll get acquainted with the keys again...

for now, I'll enjoy the view.

6 Months

This little turkey is already 6 months old!

Half a year has already gone by and she's not wasting any time!

Here are her stats:

15 pounds

24.5 inches long

Weighing in at pound bigger and an inch shorter than her sister at

6 months old.

This past month she's learned lots of things...

♥ Crawling for the past month

♥ loves to crawl under the table and usually gets stuck under the chair

♥ pulling up on things this past week

♥ finally eating baby oatmeal off a spoon after many failed attempts

♥ rediscovered blowing raspberries and thinks it's funny to spit all day

♥ moved to size 3 diapers and 6-9 month clothes

♥ nurses 2-3 times a day

♥ 4-5 ounce bottle in between

♥ learning to hold her bottle

♥ decided to take a pacifier any ole time of the day, not just when tired

♥ 1 1/2 to 3 hour naps twice a day

♥ sleeps 7ish to 6 or 7

♥ went swimming for the first time and loved it

♥ LOVES to splash in the tub

♥ It seriously pains me that she's getting so big already.

I'd love for her to stay little for a while longer, but apparently she has things to do and is the boss of her own self!

Then he told me not to post it.

And it's my birfday.

Here's to 31!

I thought I'd compile a list of 31 random and not so random things about me:

1. I LOVE Paradise Bakery's Lemon Zester cookie.

2. I start my day with a Diet Dew.

3. I wish I had long lushish hair.

4. I used to want 6 kids.

5. As the number of kids I do have grows, the number I want reduces.

6. I could eat chips and salsa for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

7. I could clean your house all day long, but I HATE cleaning my own.

8. I like driving big cars.

9. But I loved both my mini vans.

10. I wear a size 9 shoe, wide width cuz I have fat feet.

11. I HATE to run, but LOVE the way it changes my body.

12. Kamber is the only baby I've nursed.

13. I pump my milk and donate it to a friend.

14. I enjoy clipping coupons and seeing how much stuff I can good for a small amount of money.

15. I've turned into a diaper snob and really just like Huggies and have figured out a way to pay the same as I would for the store brand diapers.

16. I always write in cursive.

17. I enjoy taking naps and plan most of my days so I can.

18. My favorite alone time involves a bubble bath and a good book.

19. I LOVE watching TV and I have a lot of shows that I record and it drives Rocky crazy.

20. I don't like clothes shopping at all.

21. I bought 95% of our Christmas presents with coupons.

22. I sleep with my feet sticking out of the covers.

23. I have an obsession with all holiday decor and dishes.

24. I don't have any decorating sense.

25. I love making baby jewelry.

26. I didn't find out what I was having and I wasn't sad that I had a girl when I thought I was having a boy.

27. I love hanging out with my mom and sister.

30. Enjoying cooking and trying new things, but I try to figure out how to do it in a short amount of time.

In my younger married years I thought 31 was so old.

We stopped and got treats at Wags so we were set!

The kids liked it.

Losing it...

I remember registering for them before my baby shower and was so happy that I got them as one of my gifts.

Saturday Chore

Today Rocky started out the day by mowing the lawn.

Then he decided to redistribute the rocks so

there were no bare spots.

Then he started moving them out and decided to add pavers to the side of our driveway.

It's still a work in progress, but it's looking really nice!

This little Miss has been the happiest just sitting in her stroller watching her dad.

And I was happy she was happy not crying and snotting all over me.

Her nose has been a faucet!!!!

And I was done being a snot rag.

Plus it was super nice outside today.

The kids enjoyed being outside, playing with friends, maybe er sorta helping their dad, and riding bikes.

I love Saturdays like this.

Except for the doing the laundry part of my day.

I didn't enjoy doing that.

5 Months

Really? 5 Months old already? I seriously can't believe it!

Little Miss Thang is already movin' and a shakin' way sooner than my other 2 and I can't figure out why she

wants to be so big already.

Maybe it's the 5 1/2 year gap she's trying to make up for or something.

Ugh! Stop it! Stay little!

So, here's her stats:

♥ 14 pounds

♥ 24 inches long

This past month she:

♥ can almost sit up from laying down

♥ rocks on hands and knees

♥ gets on toes, then face plants

♥ gets stuck under the couch and under my bed from scooting backwards

♥ puts everything in her mouth

♥ grabs plates, water bottles, hair, clothes...nothing is safe!

If it's in her reach she's grabbing it!

♥ eats every 2 1/2 to 3 hours (10 minutes)

♥ 5oz formula bottle at night

♥ sleeps 7ish to 7ish (she's not always consistent and sometimes fights me till 8 or 9 then gets up at 5am)

♥ has had a constant runny nose for a month

♥ loves to smile, laugh, slobber, talk, and coo

♥ Naps 1 1/2 to 3 hours 3 times a day

I have forgotten how much work taking care of a baby was.

I'm exhausted everyday; more than I ever remembered before.

Maybe I'm just old.

Love her to pieces, but man oh man does she need a lot of attention!

This is me.

I'm not kidding.

I feel like my life revolves around these babies.

It's fine though, really it is.

I like nursing my baby.

The problem is I don't know how to lose weight and get my exercise on with them.

I'm starving all the time, but I don't know what to snack on that's quick and healthy.

I am also having a hard time finding time to exercise and shower.

Don't get me wrong, I shower everyday, but it's usually in place of a work out.

Let me explain.

I produce a good amount of milk.

I need to shower or exercise with in an hour after I feed her or I'm busting out and it's not fun to do either.

I just can't find a happy medium cuz I'm always short on time, so showering comes before exercising.

Any helpful tips would be appreciated.

They're the separated triplets!

Our little family of 5.

Todd got his own set of scriptures and a cool scripture bag.

Such a big boy!

I seriously can't believe how fast these 8 years have gone by.

I love this boy more now than I did when they layed a

4 pound 9 ounce baby on my chest 8 years ago.

Though alot of the time this kid makes me nuts,

he's such a good boy and always willing to help.

I'm so proud of him for taking this step in his life.

He really wanted a red tie, so that's what he got.

My mom gave a talk and he really wanted animals with it, so that's what he got and all 3 kiddos got a comfy stuffed bear to help them remember why we get baptized.

He really likes pineapple pizza, so that's what we ate.

I'm so thankful for our family and good friends that came and shared the day with us.

It was priceless...one we'll remember for sure.

Her biggest accomplishment this past month has been...

grabbing for toys...

and eating them!

Her stats are:

13 pounds---25%

23 1/2 inches long---10% (she's a shorty!)

She belly laughs and giggles at everything!

Can almost twist out of her Bumbo.

Learned how to blow raspberries.

Will grab your face if you get close to her.

Eats every 2.5 to 3 hours.

Size 2 diapers.

Moved to 3-6 month clothes.

Tells lotts of stories.

Most nights sleeps 7 to 7.

Loves to look at herself in the mirror.

Plays with toesies and sticks them in her mouth.

She's been so much stinking fun I can hardly stand it! I think this as each month goes by, but she's getting too big too fast! But I love it. She's a such a fun stage. I just wish she'd stay here for a minute.

Last night we went to Kohls and he picked out a book and stuffed animal to match.

Then Grandma Garlock let him pick out his very own video at Costco, Alpha and Omega.

I feel silly now having such a pitty party for myself yesterday. I know that things always look better in the morning and today I'm not feeling so bad. I've been reminded that my kids don't care the house is a mess, that I'm not a gourmet cook, I'm not as put together as some of the other moms in the carpool, know that we are poor, and that the toilets really need a good scrub down...okay, maybe they have noticed the fab ring around the toilet, but really, all they want is to be loved by me and their dad. They'll remember the fun we had at the park, the toy they go in their Micky D's meal, the time we spend hanging out, eating pizza, riding bikes, watching movies, camping and quading. There might be chaos around us, but as long as there is love around the chaos that's all that matters. I know there will be days I can't seem to get it together and feel discouraged, but I know as long as I'm doing my best and learning to be better each day it won't matter that that last load of laundry didn't get folded and I took my daily shower at 9pm. Being with my 3 sweet kids everyday is hard and challenging, but so worth it. Even though the baby is screaming right now and there is snot in my hair.

Gonna be a good day!

I'm seriously about to have a meltdown. I can't keep up with anything. I do a load of laundry and as soon as I turn around there are 3 more that need to be done and folded. My room has been taken over by it. I'll get my table cleared off and the minute I turn my back there's crap all over it. Baby junk litters my floor. Toys trickle down the stairs. The bills need to be paid, the bathrooms need to be cleaned, the floors need vacuuming and mopped. I'm so unorganized and I don't know how to get organized. I feel like I'm being pulled in 100 directions and the things that are most important get the shaft because I can't keep up on everything else. On top of all that stuff my walls are bare and I long for cute decorations and some sort of decorating unity, but I'm not a decorator so I don't know where to start. Todd begs me weekly to paint his room, but I don't know what to do and I'm too poor to hire someone who does. I want the baby's room to be pulled together and cute, but instead I pile tiny baby laundry on the ironing board and shut the door. There are people who are having real trials and real problems, so I HATE that I'm feeling this way, but I am. Why can't I be the put together mom, with a clean house, cute decorations, who goes to their kids class each week and bakes cookies everyday after school? I so want to be that mom. But I don't know how. I honestly thought this stay at home mom business was going to be the best time of my life. I thought I'd have time to do everything since I didn't have a job to go to, but I don't. Plus my 5 year old thinks she's the boss of me, the baby and everything else so my brain just hurts most days after dealing with her. Some days I think going back to work would be easier. Something has got to give. I don't know how to do it all. I'm about to lose it people.

Kamber got herself an eye infection and this sweet new toy.

She's actually been a pretty good baby considering her

eye balls have been glued shut.

I'm sure that can't feel too good.

We got some meds and she should be on the mends real quick!

These are some classic looks from our little girl.

Here are her 3 month stats:

12 pounds

23 inches long

eating every 3 hours

working on a better sleep schedule---some nights 11ish till 10, other nights 8ish to 5:30ish---my other kids had rigid sleep schedule from 8 weeks old, not this kid. What's up with that?!?

Maybe cuz I'm nursing?

Sleep Over

My brother and SIL, Brooke had our kids over on New Years Eve for a fun sleepover.

They ate pizza, played with fire works and made a fort.

So, their kids came over for a sleepover tonight.

It's been so much fun!

They have played, watched Shreck, ate chicken and french fries, made a fabulous farm with Moon Dough.

These are the memories I hope they remember for a long time.

Christmas 2010

I have so many fun pics to post of Christmas,

but this year I've been sick as a dog so I'm not posting them.

Well not tonight anyways.

But, I have a story I know I'm never going to write in my journal.

Let's face it, I'm a busy mom and I'm really prob never gonna write in my journal again.

I just don't want to forget it.

Here goes....

Rocky and I were laying all warm in bed this morning waiting for the kids to get up. I knew it was going to be soon, so I was savoring every last minute before all the Christmas fun would begin. Our door opened and a sad little girl walked in. I asked Kylee what was wrong and she answers, "Santa didn't eat." I asked her what she meant and she said, "Santa didn't come and eat his treats. And there are no presents under the tree." She was so sad and I was so confused. I asked her if she went downstairs and she said yes. Then I asked her if she was supposed to go down stairs and she shook her head no. Todd wasn't up yet so we had her climb in bed with us. I had to tell her that Santa did come, but she looked in the wrong room. See, we have 2 Christmas trees; 1 in the front room and 1 in the family room. Santa visited the tree in the family room. Thus no gifts under the tree in the front room. And Santa didn't eat all the treats left. He drank some milk, then dipped his brownie in it and took a bite. He also left a note telling the kids they had been very good this year. She just didn't realize Santa had only taken bites. Next time Santa will have to eat the whole thing....or toss it in the garbage. Finally at 8am Todd and the baby were up and we headed downstairs to check out what Santa left under the right tree. All was good in the end and we had a great Christmas. It was just so sad that Kylee was so sad. I want her to believe for a long time!

Then I let her pour everything in the mixer.

Eggs and kids don't make nice.

Though I'm not sure how much Kamber liked

I really wanted to capture how curly her hair is right after her bath, but it's hard to see.

And well, naked babies are just cute!

Anyways, Kamber is 2 months old and is growing too fast for my liking.

Stats are as follows:

10.2 lbs

22.5 inches

25% for weight

50% for height

She's eating every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I prefer every 3.

She gets a 3 oz formula bottle at night.

Bedtime 8 to 9pm, wake up time 7 to 8am. Not bad at all!

Prefers to sleep on her tummy.

She coos and smiles like crazy!

The last several months I have been a bad picture taker.

Being pregnant and having a new baby I just can't seem to remember to take any.

This is what I got this year.

Kamber is starting to smile and coo.

It's very cute!

Sometimes I can tell she wants to talk, but she just can't get it out.

Then she finally does and I love it!

It seriously takes forever to get them here, then they grow so fast!

I hate it!

I'm just glad I find the joy in every stage because it makes me sad that she's already getting so big.

She's 6 1/2 weeks old and already wants to be big.

She's been holding her head up since day 1 and wiggles like crazy!

Sometimes I'll lay her on the couch and she'll wiggle herself in another direction.

Crazy girl!

She eats every 3 hours.

Sometimes less.

I give her a formula bottle at bedtime.

She usually sleeps 9pm till 4/5am.

She's been stuffy this week, so she's been getting up like 1ish and than at 6.

Except 2 nights ago when she was litterally up all night.

That was super fun!

I can't get enough of her!

I tell her all the time I want to eat her face!

Then she sticks her tongue out at me.

I love this little girlie!

We went on our first real camping trip over the weekend.

It wasn't too bad sleeping in our trailer with the babe.

Thank goodness for a heater and shelter from the wind.

Though Kamber's cheeks and Kylee's hands got real chapped.

We always have a good time with family and friends eating dutch oven biscuits, corn bread, and chili, playing chicken foot, roasting mallows, and making fun memories.

She didn't make a peep and looked so sweet and peaceful.

The spirit was so strong and it was undeniable that she was placed with us at the right time.

After everyone came to our house for soup, salad and goodies.

It was such a nice day and we ate outside, the kids played, the ladies chatted, the guys and some ladies watched the Cardinals game.

I'm so grateful for my wonderful family and friends who were there to support us on her special day.

It was a really good day.
