Recipe Monday


White Tacos


1/2 pound hamburger or

1 can shredded chicken (6 boiled tenderloins)( I made mine with chicken).

1/4 c. onion

1/2 can green chilis

1 can cream of chicken soup

2 -5 oz can of canned milk

salt and pepper to taste

1/2 package tortilla strips

1 c. cheese


Brown hamburger or boil and shred chicken. Add chilies, soup and milk. Bring to a boil. Place tortilla chips in bottom of 9x9 baking dish. Add mixture and top with cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes uncovered. Serve with your favorite toppings; tomatoes, sour cream, hot sauce, lettuce, olives...

Mmmm, this looks so good! Do you use evaporated milk for the canned milk?
