UGHHH!

I bought myself a cute Easter dress for tomorrow. Problem is, I broke my baby toe and the onlys hoes I can wear are my very casual black Roxy sandals. I set out on a quest tonight to find a nice pair of dress sandals that would not pinch my toe. No such luck! Every dang pair had a stupid strap that ran right across my baby toe. For those that don't know the broken toe story I will share it with you.... We had just gotten home from our family trip to Mexico. We were at my parents house cleaning out the trailer. We had just finished eating spaghetti. My sweet sister, Shawna, put her unfinished plate on the floor which Todd stepped in. So, there was spaghetti on his foot and I didn't want him walking across the floor. As I sat there pondering what to do I decited to pick him up and carry him to the sink rather than get a wet wash cloth and wipe his foot off. As I was walking to the kitchen I kicked a stupid toy truck which hit the side of the couch and broke my baby toe in half. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry. It hurt like heck and looked even worse. It looked like a hook off the side of my foot (wish I had taken a before and after picture). Yep. It was UGLY! I did cry. But, I'm on the mends. I did kick a laundry basket the other night and that brought tears to my eyes too. I will be glad to be back to normal. I'm always on the guard for someone about to step on my toe. I'm about sick of that. So, that's my sad story. Well, it's time to play Easter Bunny!
