Yesterday was Rocky's 29th birthday! Yeah! Old man I know! So the kids and I decided we'd make the 45 minute drive to University of Phoenix and surprise him. We stopped, in the rain, and got him some balloons. When we got there my friend Brooke walked to Rocky's desk holding Kylee. He was surprised and couldn't quite figure out why she had Kylee. Then both the kids yelled "Surprise Daddy!" He was surprised to see us. Kylee got to wear daddy's head set and then we went to Panda for lunch. After that we dropped Rocky off and headed to IKEA. That was fun, but I'll save it for another post. Then we went and picked Rocky up and headed to Wal-Mart to grab a few things for dinner. Yeah, that was fun too and reserved for another post as well. I made Manicotti with salad, carrots and cake for dinner. It was good and the kids loved eating party cake! Happy 29th birthday yesterday honey! Hope you enjoyed your gifts and your surprise. We love you!

How fun are you?? What a cool thing to do for your hubby!! I was looking at the pictures of the cake, did you use rainbow chip frosting?? That is my favorite. I have some in the fridge I am going to go eat some. YuMMY!! What a fun thing you did. I bet he just loved it. Happy Birthday to Rocky!
I see you made manicotti! I think I'll just make it anyway and Brandon can eat a sandwich instead. He's so picky! I'm glad Rocky had a good bday. Sorry I called so late, but didn't want him to think we had forgotten about him on his happy day.
Oh yes! Rainbow chip frosting is the only way to go! I love to just eat if off my finger. YUM!
Is Rocky working for University of Phoenix then?
Hey that's my brother in the background!!! At uofP
Aw, that's sweet! Happy Birthday Rock! You're catching up to Dave now...;)
Jon's teaching an online course for Univ of Phx. I don't remember exactly what the course is, but it's in Spanish.
Happy Birthday Rocky!
A friend of Jon's brother got him hooked up with someone at U of Phx. Send me your email address and I'll talk to Jon and see if he can give me a contact name or something useful! kmstradling@yahoo.com
Happy Birthday Rocky! That is so fun that you surprised him at work. Rocky is such a nice guy! Honestly he is probably one of the most optimistic and genuine people I know. Glad he is my bro! Hope he had a good bday!
