Huckybuck

This is Todd and his Huckybuck! What is a Huckybuck you say? Well, it's the newly invented word by my sweet Kylee who wanted a "Huckybuck" like her brother the other day. At first we didn't know what she was saying and then finally realized it was her version of a honey bun.
We no longer have honey buns in our home. They are now Huckybucks.

I truly love how these kids invent fun new words for their favorite things. Examples:
sucker=sucky
panda bear=anda bear
Todd=Buddy (yes, Kylee calls him Buddy)
color=coli
sock=socky
It's fun and silly at the same time to hear them use their funny kid vocabulary. Oh to be a kid again!

What are the odds? It must be fate! I knew that you were Heather's sister-in-law, that must be so fun! I haven't seen her in ages. We should totally go out, just let me know when. I pretty much have a lot of free time. I would love to hang out, I stay home far too much. Your kids look so much like you! I love the blonde hair! My email address is valeriesalima@gmail.com.

I love when they start inventing and making up stories too! A couple of months ago Jennie's son Tyler told his preschool teacher that his brother died...that they were at the gym and something fell on his head and killed him. Of course that one wasn't so funny but it was still crazy that he even thought to make that one up! Ha Ha ~Karen

I like how her room turned out. Are you still using the red & blue stuff in Todd's room? I'm curious to see how his room will look. Good job. Won't you be glad when it's all done??

I love kids words! A new one I just heard from a kid at Suzy's was "beat you up" he thinks it means to beat/win in a race, so he was at the store w/his mom & grandma and he yelled to his mom "Let's go beat grandma up." I thought that was funny.
