Partners in Crime!

We had a very fun weekend up at the Turner Family cabin. I guess I should say for the most part.
These 2 little sweeties decided to go on a little walk and look for animals. The conversation went a little something like this:
Jakob: Kylee, let's look for animals.
Kylee: OK. Follow me!
And away they went up the hill and down the road.
Meanwhile, me, Heidi and Grandma and looking for them and calling their names. Nothing. 5 minutes pass then 10 minutes, but it felt like an eternity. We are searching behind the cabin, in front of the cabin, under the cabin, in the cabin, under bushes, behind trees. Rocky jumps on the quad and starts on the trails behind the cabin. Grandpa jumps on the other quad and starts up the road. A panic is starting to arise from the moms and Grandma. I start heading up the road again and here comes Grandpa on the quad with two little rascals in tow.

"What mom? What did we do?" Kylee's thoughts.
"Me? Geez guys! We were just lookin' for animals!" Jakob's thoughts.
Are these the faces of two innocent souls? I don't think so!

Though they gave us a little scare they returned safe and unharmed. We realize now that these two love each other and trust one another, just a little too much! I guess we need to tie them to a tree next time. Then they won't get away.
STINKERS!

Holy smokes I would have panicked something fierce! My son would have fallen off a cliff or something, at least they watched eachothers' backs!

Even though they are trouble causers, they sure are cute! I'm glad the rest of your trip was good. We would love to get together for a bbq with the salimas. You name the day and we will make the "trek" out there.
