Bryanna, Cami, and me.
Lookin' hot after 4 days of blood, sweat and tears.
I'm not even kidding!
Cami and my mom have been BFF's for a long time.
She just happens to be the Stake Girls Camp director,
and I just so happen to be in her Stake.
She asked me to go as a YCL** leader and I said "Heck Yes!"
Rocky has served in Young Men's several times, so I don't know if I'll ever have the chance to be in Young Women's'. But maybe it's a good thing so when Kylee is in YW's I can serve there and not be burned out.
I left the forest with a sweet blister on my toe.
My bad for wearing crappy shoes.
Sydney and Morgan on our hike~~~Brenda taught the girls how to make 3 kinds of knots. She did a fantastic job!
The first day we were there it full on hailed golf ball sized hail. Morgan and Alec had fun playing in it. I just watched.
Sydney brought up her guitar and spent some time teaching one of the first years how to play. It was so sweet of her and the girls had fun! She has an incredible voice and it was awesome to listen to her play and sing and share her talent.
These are all the YCL's in my home ward. It was so fun getting to know them. We had a lot of fun laughing and being silly!
Now I know who to get to baby-sit and who not to. JK!
They are all great girls.
Don't be fooled by their innocent looks though.
They could get quite silly.
By the end of camp they were calling us leaders Mom.
I was Mom Turner. I loved it!
They had their work cut out for them for sure!
They chopped and cooked, and chopped and cooked for days.
We hardly got to talk at all.
But the food was good.
This is us day 5, ready to hit the road and make a Sonic pit stop!

I'm so glad I had to opportunity to go to Girls Camp.
As a young women I loved it each and every time I went.
I learned so much, and Girls Camp is really where I gained my testimony.
These girls have so much crap out in the world to deal with. Girls Camp is one of the tools we can give them to help keep their focus towards choosing good friends and not falling into all the worldly crap out there today.
The kids deal with stuff now I didn't even know existed when I was young.
I hope I get the chance to go again. Hint hint.

How fun! I hope I get to do that when Kiley is in young womens. I know it won't happen before that with Brendan being in Y.M.
Looks too fun! How did you get Sidney? She is in my ward. I know Morgan too from our last ward. I taught her Sunday school for a little while. Such good girls!
