This is me.
I'm not kidding.
I feel like my life revolves around these babies.
It's fine though, really it is.
I like nursing my baby.
The problem is I don't know how to lose weight and get my exercise on with them.
I'm starving all the time, but I don't know what to snack on that's quick and healthy.
I am also having a hard time finding time to exercise and shower.
Don't get me wrong, I shower everyday, but it's usually in place of a work out.
Let me explain.
I produce a good amount of milk.
I need to shower or exercise with in an hour after I feed her or I'm busting out and it's not fun to do either.
I just can't find a happy medium cuz I'm always short on time, so showering comes before exercising.
Any helpful tips would be appreciated.
TMI?
I'm very sorry, but these milk ladies are all new to me!

Just a little cabbage extract. Rub that on to put the fire out. You can get it at Baby Mother and More. If it's still there. Don't use too much, it could dry you up.
I am the same way so I pump after I feed to totally drain them then I have at least 2 hours.
O the joys!!!! :-) I didn't produce enough milk so I don't have your problem, but I am sure pumping would help???
Pumping will really just tell your body to produce MORE milk!! I'd just exercise right after her first morning feed, then jump right in the shower after that. Probably pretty tricky since that's assuming she'll be happy for you all during that time. I never focused on losing weight while nursing because I was concerned about maintaining my supply (which I never had a problem with).
By the way, that shirt is freakin' hilarious!!! I wish I had the guts to wear something like that. LOL!
If you don't pump all of it, just enough to keep the flow down, it shouldn't make you lactate more. It might actually decrease how much milk you produce. So you know, happy medium?
As for healthy snacks, I always have organic apples (because they taste like candy!!) on hand, as well as kefir. Try the kefir - it's like amazing, drinkable yogurt with so many probiotics your gut will be so happy about. And it's good. Oh, and I like bananas with a spoon full of peanut butter.
Fun times! I remember well ;) I'd suggest staying away from the cabbage extract cuz it can really mess with your system if you're not precise. It's tricky figuring out a system with nursing. I can't help with figuring that out...but I'm good for the snacking! My faves while nursing were apples & almond butter, yogurt & granola, and crackers & cheese. Good luck!
