Today is day 1 of potty training for Kylee. Didn't I just get done with Todd?! Any advice from moms of girls? I hear they are easier than boys, right? She's a feisty one. Help me if you can. Thanks!
I got my Dora Panties. See? I'm going to be a big girl.

Good Luck!! Girls are defiantly easier. Kiley was so easy and Gaige gave me grief. As for advice it really just depends on her determination of doing it or not. Keep it positive! :)
Allright. You asked. Here we go:
So shortly after Ruby turned two, I thought "let's do this" and we had a Potty Day. We spent the whole day in the bathroom sans underwear so she could just hop on the toilet whenever and do her thing. We read books, watched 2 movies, blew bubbles, ate lunch - everything in the bathroom. She peed right away fine. Then came the poop. She wouldn't do it. It terrified her. I tried and tried with her for months, made charts, had prizes, etc. but she just wouldn't do it and was never really able to sense when it was time for her to pee, so she'd always wet herself. So we took a 2-3 week break. Tried it again. No luck. Another break and started over. No luck again. This went on for the next 7 months. I gave up completely and she just went back to wearing diapers. I was telling some other Moms about it at the gym and one of them said "She'll do it when she's ready" and she couldn't have been more right. So out of the clear freakin blue sky one day, we're playing and all of a sudden, she says "I have to go to the bathroom." She runs into the bathroom, sits on the toilet and pees AND POOPS and from then on it was smooth sailing, not even a bed wet once. So I have a strong testimony of waiting until they express interest and are ready to do it.
I agree with her I pushed Gaige because He had just turned three and thought he needed to be trained. He was peeing and pooping all over it just wasn't working and I was getting mad at him all the time for not going on the toilet so I said forget this and put him back in diapers and within a few months he was doing it on his own. So see how she does and if she is having a hard time with it scrap it and wait
You can look at Holly Sparks BLOG for my scare tactics tip... But I totally agree with "WHEN THEY Are READY"! It is true.
ALSO, there is a book & a baby that your child has to help train the doll. I heard it works great!
