I had mentioned on Rocky's D-Bay post that Kylee was so pleasant at IKEA. Then on the way home we stopped at Wal-Mart where she continued to be naughty. This is Kylee's reward for being naughty. M&M's. Why? Well because sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to make them behave!
Months ago at an Enrichment night we were discussing if our kids do ___ ,what do you do? One question was along the lines of "If your child wants candy for lunch what do you tell him?" A friend of mine commented "Well, today I gave it to him!" We all had a good laugh. I feel sometimes as a mom that's what you have to do to survive the moment.
K: In her own mind, "Ha Ha! These are mine. You can't have them!"
T: "Mommy! Kylee's not sharing!"
M: "You ate all yours, she doesn't have to share."
T: See above face.

Kasey! You have the cutest family! Thanks for the reassuring words of "Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do." That's so profound. Why doesn't anyone tell you that kind of useful stuff before you leave the hospital?
You are so funny!! I love this post. I haven't had that case with the candy, it has been with toys. Ady screamed and screamed until I gave her the toy. And I bought it just so I didn't have to be embarrased at the store when she threw a fit. I agree, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!!!
Just be glad you have a source of bribery to get them to behave!! Mine is just naughty!!
My son is pretty much a little stinker wherever I go. today at the mall I bought him some skittles which made him quiet for about 10 seconds. I truly believe he was my second child because if i had had him first, I would have stopped at one!
