Master Procrastinator!

I have a serious problem! I wait till the last minute to do everything and I let piles gather until I can't see over the top. I work well under pressure because I know I have to get the job done, but housework is an entirely different subject. Example: I swear my children have clothes. All of a sudden it seems they are wearing the same 1 shirt everyday. So instead of looking for the lost items I opt to purchase another set of Targets specials so my children do not look like ragamuffins. Then I decide to clean their rooms and find a pile of shirts behind the door and in the corner of the closet. Case and point. I need to spent more time helping my children clean their rooms rather them trusting that they did it correctly. And I stupid? Me thinks yes because what 5 and 3 year old can properly clean their rooms? And the pile next to my fridge and the one on my nightstand, and the huge mess in my bedroom and laundry room? Well, OUT OF CONTROL! Tomorrow is the day it all stops! I've got to keep on top of my piles and monitor the cleaning of my dear children so my house is a house of order, not CIAOS!

To Do List:
1. Kylee's room -Checkity
2. Todd's room -Check
3. Master bedroom -Boom Bam Done!
4. Laundry room -Check
5. Next to fridge - Done

I will get these items done if it kills me! Which may possibly happen. =)

hmmm...definately me. I have an 8 pg paper due tomorrow. So, why am I blogging????
On a side note I have found that with us it helps if I jut sit on the childs bed and direct them what to do. That way everything is getting done, but they still feel like big kids because they did it.

That's a great idea! My kids love to feel like they are helping. That's why they think they are cleaning by sticking their clothes in nice piles behind doors.

I am a super procrastinator too, I wish I weren't. And don't let me fool you, Sam's Blazer is a 99 and my car is an 07, but they're new to us and that's all that matters! It's fun to mix it up :) Next Friday is perfect for a picnic by the way.

As Brandon reads to Bradon at night, I pick up his room. I know I should have him do it, but come on he's only 2! And his room stays clean this way! Good luck with the cleaning. I may just "pop in" tomorrow to see if you're sticking to your list...

I totally agree with that post Kasey. I would rather go and buy something new then wash what they have. Doesn't it cost the same if you add up water and soap plus time? I think so keep up your good work.

Thats to funny and I am totally the same way. My inlaws are coming over tonight and my place is a mess. But I will wait until they will be here in like an hour before I do anything about it. I am so bad about that. But oh well because it always gets done in time.

Yep, that's me too! I can't keep my house clean for anything. Tate's room is a different story though. It's usually the only clean room in the house. He seriously has this thing where he can't go to sleep until it's all cleaned! I don't know how he got like that-I mean he's only 3 1/2, but I love it!

I think we should just get a maid

even if you clean methodically, you will still find piles of shorts in the closet corner. so, just don't worry about it! (but also don't come over cuz my house has been a wreck lately!) ha!

A...hahahaha, I love that you added the checks to it, classic. I love your posts. Hey, sorry about the looks at Applebees, I couldn't really see you through the window so I didn't know who you were at first. Glad to see someone I know when I am out, that never happens anymore!

I hate laundry with a passion!!! I am usualy pretty good at keeping my house clean but......I can never keep up with the laundry! Everytime I finally get it all done I vow to keep up on it so it won't take me 10 years to finish it! But do I? NO!!! By then I'm so sick of laundry I could puke! So I have to take a brake....thus the visous cycle of the laundry mountain! We have way to many clothes! I think it's time to go through the closets cause I keep having to buy more and more hangers which = more laundry!!!!Yuck!

I am so proud of you Kasey. Cleaning and organizing is way fun. I am not being sarcastic either.
