Memorial Day Weekend

Over the holiday weekend we headed up North for a major softball tournament!

It was a wild and crazy weekend...

that started with hail on Thursday!

When we got up North we saw this. The kids were pretty excited though.


Ran into Rocky's manager, Jared and his cute family.

Saw a mama and baby cow chillin' in the middle of the road.

Hung around watching movies because it was wet and muddy at the Turner cabin.

On a side note, it was Kadyn's birthday on the 25th. I wrote her a card and signed it with Kylee's name. Well, Kadyn was mad because Kylee started with a K too! Kids are so funny!

We had so much fun up North. It was a lot of driving because the Showlow fields were rained out, so about 20 teams had to all play on 1 field in Snowflake. Games started at 7am and ended at 12am. I'm glad we weren't the ones to play at those times! We were able to check out the new Temple. It was beautiful! But aren't they all? Sunday we got to just hang out. By then it had stopped raining and Uncle Jared took the kids to shoot BB guns. Todd was so excited to show me his target. Then dirty quad riding and lots of movies and coloring went on. On Monday we headed to Lakeside to finish up the softball games. There were 2 fields to play on, so it went quicker for sure! Rocky and his team played so well! It was so much fun and they finished 3rd. We got home at 9pm Monday night. It was a long, but fun weekend. Especially with our weakling son who needed a breathing treatment with no medicine nearby. But that will be another post. I'm so going to bed!
