Before I forget...
My poor son has some weakling lungs. Sometimes when the weather changes or there's too much dust in the air his poor chest gets tight, his heart races and he has a hard time breathing. There have been a few times his lips turned purple and it develops into Pneumonia. Over the holiday, while Rocky was playing softball we could tell he was going to need a breathing treatment. When we left our house we didn't even think about bringing the dang thing. Our bad! Rocky finished his Saturday night game at about 9pm. By the time he drove home from Snowflake it was nearing midnight. Todd was having a hard time, but it was dark, late and cold. I convinced him to wait until morning to head home and get him his treatment. At 1am Rocky was adamant that he drive back home and get him taken care of because he was having such a hard time breathing. I knew he was right or we'd be in Urgent Care or the ER again. So him and his dad took Todd and drove from the cabin in Tonto Village all the way back to Mesa, gave him a double treatment and then drove back to the cabin by 6am. I thought for sure they would sleep and home and return at a reasonable hour Sunday morning. Needless to say, Todd started breathing better and the two Rocky's were dead tired!
The whole thing wore Todd out! He crashed. You've got to be tired to fall asleep with half your body hanging off the couch!
Lesson learned. Always take the breathing machine!

We always have to take it(breathing machine) when we take long trips...even if Ezra hasn't needed it in awhile. Cause when I get somewhere without it...we need it. You've got a GOOD hubby to drive in the early hours of the morning to make sure his child is okay... :) Little Todd was dang tired...the picture of him hanging off the couch was cute!
Seriously...Dad of the Year! My oldest had breathing issues and it's the scariest thing. Luckily, he outgrew it eventually. Mark use to play in those tournaments up in Showlow...now we are too busy with our own kids tournaments(and too lazy to play, lol)...they were lots of fun though, I miss going to them. Craziest weather that weekend, wasn't it so cold?!!
I so hope he out grow it! That would be marvelous!
Aww, your husband rocks! Your poor little Todd looked pooped! I can just imagine his lips turning purple, that's so sad.
Poor baby! What a great daddy. You better do something great for Father's Day! I'm sure you will though.
P.S. Thanks for the re invite message! I've got my best people on it.
I always knew that Rocky was close to perfect. Kasey, you've got a gem..no pun intended.
