Todd made it through his first day of school! No tears were shed and that was an answer to our many prayers. He tried to fight going at first and backed into me, but his teacher grabbed his arm and said, "Come on Todd." He went, the door shut and I was on my way! I'm not a crier because my kid is going to school. But I'd cry if he cried and I so did not want to be that crying mom! Thank goodness for small miracles!
Today I dropped him off and he walked to the playground. He kept looking back at me in the car, but he did go. He says he's having fun, so I'm glad. Off to the gym I have done the past two days after dropping him off. I think I'm going to like this new routine. It's getting me up and out and that's a good thing because I'm so not a morning person!

I can't believe school starts so soon! way to go Todd!
Sounds like a dream routine. Yay to having kids in school!
I'd so be the crying Mom and I only really cry when it comes to my babies! maybe not, the mom status & all those crazy hormonal changes have made me a wimp vs. the rock I use to be. I'm glad he's liking it and you're getting up early!!!!!!! I've got until sept. 2nd before I have to get Hayden to preschool. His teacher reminds me of you and me...a mix of us in 1! so fun!
Um, can I be jealous? Ainsley doesn't start for two more weeks and it's killing me!
He looks so cute though :)
