I imagine that one day, out of the clear blue, my husband will come home, swoop me into his arms, kiss me on the mouth and pull out some flowers from behind his back-just because.
In my mind I picture sunflowers and daisies. In a fabulous vintage vase. And maybe some yum fruity candy because he was thinking about me and wanted to get me something pretty and fruity.
Well, the other day, as my scouts were leaving and their parents were standing in the door, there was no swooping or kissing on the mouth or fruity candy. I don't think that's how he planned to give me his surprise, as awkward as it was.
But I'll take these 3 beauties because it was the thought that counts.

Those dang men! For some reason I think they think that they have to keep flowers for extra special occasions ONLY because they won't mean as much but that is a bunch of crap! Those are beautiful too:)

What a great guy! It takes a lot of imagination for a guy to get his wife flowers at all, and it shows he was thinking of you, adorable.
I so know what you mean I told jose he better get me flowers for giving birth to his daughter but do think he did NO he said he was going to get me an edible arrangement you know the fruit ones but he didn't do it after all- he says flowers are a wast of money because they die very true but they are beautiful. So some brownie points for Rocky.
