About a month ago our turtle Swimmie died.
(He was triple the size of this!)
The kids were crushed.
He was 2 years old.
Today we got a new one and they are thrilled!
He's 2 years old so I was thinking he'd be the size of our other turtle.
That was not the case!
This little guy is tiny for being 2 years old!
The kids are gonna sleep on it and decide in the morning what his name is going to be.
I've been calling him Tiny.
We shall see...

I've never had a pet turtle. How big do they get?
They can get up to 100 pounds! They can live a really long time too. That's why I was surprised our first one died so young.
