Applesauce Muffins

Prepare to become addicted! These are the yummiest little muffins ever! My friend Sarah makes them all the time and gave me the recipe. I think I'm going to make them every week. They are light, tasty and healthy for you. My kids even like them. You can also bake them as a cake and frost with cream cheese frosting. No one will ever know you made a healthy cake.
So, here is the recipe. Try em. I promise you will like.
1/2 c. canola oil
1 c. organic evaporated can juice (sugar) or 3/4 c. honey (I used honey)
1 c. applesauce (natural-no sugar added)
2 c. whole wheat or spelt four
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Combine all ingredients together and mix on medium for 3 to 4 minutes. Pour into slightly greased muffin or cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until cake bounces back when touched in the center. Makes 12 muffins.

They look like they turned out good! I'm glad everyone liked them. I like to use honey too. It's my favorite!
