Memorial Day Weekend

We had a blast over the holiday weekend. While is was super hot in Mesa, we were enjoying the beauty and cooler weather up north at the Turner cabin. We took walks outside, ate, watched movies, picnicked, sat on the porch, took a drive, went to the fish hatchery and relaxed. The kids had a blast playing in the dirt, watching the birds and finding squirrels and we even saw a deer! Us girls talked and hung out while the guys went out shooting and spot-lighting for elk. It was so relaxing and fun. I'm so glad we went! The weather was PERFECT! The kids were in heaven running wild everywhere. There is something about the forest that is so calming and sweet. To sit in nature and see all the wonderful things that HF has created for us is just wonderful. I feel very safe there and all my worries seem to be gone for a time. I can't wait until we can go back!Us at the fish hatchery.

I'm glad you guys had fun. I made $400 at my garage sale, so we stayed for that! I want to go camping soon. Maybe we can make a trip out of it.
