Dead at 28

Heath Ledger was one of my favorite actors. The first movie I ever saw with him was 10 Things I Hate About You and I was hooked! It's sad to hear that he has died. He was 28 years old and had a whole life ahead of him. Was it an accident? Was is suicide?
Sometimes I dream of being in that world, but it seems all too many of these actors and actresses have inner demons that they don't quite know what to do with. Maybe fame and fortune isn't what makes one happy? But forever the reason, I'm sad that he's gone.

I heard about that earlier. Something about pneumonia...How sad. It really hits home when they are so young.

Really sad. He was a wonderful actor too. Didn't he get an oscar for Brokeback mountain? And didn't you say that you loved that movie? :)I'm sorry I didn't call you back. I will cal tomorrow. Matt and I spent some time together watching our shows then all of a sudden it was 10:45p! What did you think of Biggest Loser tonight?

I so agree with you. I was shocked when I saw the news online. I hope they find out what happened soon. His poor family.

I am with you. He was a wonderful actor and so darn good looking. I loved a Knight's Tale..I saw it in the $5 bin at Walmart a week ago ..I didn't get it then..but now I will. It is sad that he is leaving behind his 2 year old daughter. Definately heart breaking for many people, esp. his family.

My mom was like, "Who's he?" and I said, "You know, Me's son on the Patriot." Then she was like ok, but I could tell she wasn't sure so I whipped out a Knights Tale, that she just bought from the $5 bin at Wal-Mart. I'm still in shock today.

It is so weird how sad you can be over someone you don't even know! I had a poster of him in my dorm in college. It is so sad!

Oh, my heart sank when I saw that! He was definately one of my faves (his good looks were a perk to his acting:). I think what makes it more shocking is he's our age and had a small baby like us. How sad for everyone!

Ok, so I am glad that I am not the only one that has been traumatized by this...my husband thinks I am so weird because I keep bringing it up...LOL! I liked him alot...he wasn't flashy or out looking for trouble/cameras. And sad because he leaves behind a little girl. Ok, I got it out once again...I feel a little better.(LOL)

It is soooo sad. he is our age, that's what's crazy. I wish there wasn't so much media tho, luckily it won't effect his daughter too much since she is so young.

Very sad, I know. I wasn't the hugest fan but I also haven't seen much of his work. I just feel bad that he had his whole life ahead of him and tons of people who cared about him. I was sad when he and Michelle broke up, his poor daughter too.
