I'm a bit irritated that it is 2 am and I'm still up. A tend to be a late nighter, but about once a week I just can't shut my mind off, thus being awake and blogging in the wee hours of the morning. But my kitchen in now clean and the dishes are done and washed. Maybe I can head off to sleepy land before my crazy day starts tomorrow.
My weekend started with dinner at Carraba's with these fine ladies. We laughed till our stomachs hurt that's for sure! Anyone want more potatoes?!?!
On the way home I saw this. It's pretty sad that $2.79 a gallon makes me happy. It's lower today and that makes me happier for sure!
Saturday morning my kids had their first soccer games. They were so cute. Kylee has been named the star of her team. And Todd, well he is definitely my child that marches to the beat of his own drum. He was perfectly fine standing on the sideline pretending he was chasing birds.
Then we headed off to my HS reunion picnic. I'm glad I went because I didn't go to the evening festivities, though I sort of wished I coughed up the money and went anyways. Oh well. I saw some old friends and one of my best friends Jessie and the kids ran around like little crazies. After that I headed to a baby shower for my friend Brook. Yummy food and cute girlie gifts. It doesn't get better than that!
Then off to my parents house for a while while Rocky worked on our truck that broke down at the park. Grandpa wheeled them around the circle in this fancy rig. Wanna ride?
Last but not least, we went to our ward Trunk-or-Treat. It was fun. And that was our weekend. And this is what I did while the rest of you were sleeping. Blast you!

Aren't late nights productive. How else does anything get done when the kids are around. Gas prices are down to $2.35 here and that is very exciting. Cute costumes.

I too am a late night freak about 1 or 2 times a week. I am glad to know that I am not the only freak out there. lol!! It looks like you had a good weekend. We need to get together, SOON!! what days are your preschool??

I totally am loving cheaper gas, hooray! You are so nice for saying I looked pretty at the reunion, I felt so awkward! I went back and forth between wishing I had gone to the dinner, and being glad I didn't. I hope you get some sleep tonight!
I know how you feel, I got all excited when I saw gas for $2.62 here the other day. Sounds like the picnic was fun, I totally forgot all about it until Valerie called me that night. Oops.
I can't wait to have kids old enough to go to soccer games. Is that so fun?! It was Dallas's reunion last weekend too :)
