Today Todd received 2 awards at school.
My Grami came with me to the ceremony.
At the beginning of the year Todd struggled. This is how he rolls.
From the very first time I met his teacher I explained to her that he was born early and is a little delayed, but eventually he'll catch on. She was concerned after a couple months and advised me to get him a tutor. So, once or twice a week my Grami has been coming over after school to tutor him. It has all paid off because he made the honor roll for getting 80% or above. He is right where the rest of the kids are who haven't struggled. Then...
he was awarded with the "Racing Roadrunner".
I had no idea what it was when he brought a slip home telling me what he was being awarded. I just thought it was a fun award. Before they started calling the kids up his teacher explained this award is presented
to those students who always portray the 6 pillars of Citizenship,
Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship,
in everything they do.It got me thinking I must be doing something right!

And speaking of a first, Kylee experienced her first bloody nose.
She really loved that wad of TP up her nose.
It stopped bleeding and that's what counts.
Don't even ask me how she got it cuz I don't know!
Last but not least, it's the first time one of my kids will audition for a TV show.
