Spotted this today.

How did I miss it?

Huge ole nasty spider web just chillin'.

In my kitchen.

A place where I spend a lot of time.

Seriously though, how'd I over look something so unsightly?

Blah!

Maybe I'm a hoarder

This is the counter next to my fridge.

It's out of control!

I got overwhelmed and just didn't know what to do with the stuff.

So I stacked it next to the fridge.

One stack turned into 2, then 3 and now there's not even a stack, just a huge freaking pile of crap!

Today is the day I'm taking my counter back.

Wish me luck.

I need it.

Saturday Chore

Today Rocky started out the day by mowing the lawn.

Then he decided to redistribute the rocks so

there were no bare spots.

Then he started moving them out and decided to add pavers to the side of our driveway.

It's still a work in progress, but it's looking really nice!

This little Miss has been the happiest just sitting in her stroller watching her dad.

And I was happy she was happy not crying and snotting all over me.

Her nose has been a faucet!!!!

And I was done being a snot rag.

Plus it was super nice outside today.

The kids enjoyed being outside, playing with friends, maybe er sorta helping their dad, and riding bikes.

I love Saturdays like this.

Except for the doing the laundry part of my day.

I didn't enjoy doing that.

My backyard was out of control!

My SIL Lacey always does her lawn, so I decided to bust out my inner Lacey and mow it myself.

Procrastination

I have a serious problem.

I don't' know about you, but I am the biggest procrastinator!

Case and point. It is almost 10pm. I have a guy coming over to clean my carpets in the morning. I have known about this since Monday. Have I put away preschool tables, picked up the family room, moved furniture from the playroom, vacuumed? Nope. It's almost 10pm. When am I going to do this? Soon, very very soon. I'm sure I'll be up late. That was not the plan. Instead I opted today for a snooze on the couch after watching Biggest Loser on my DVR. Not a thing got done. I don't know why I do this. Perhaps it is because I do my best work under pressure.

I'd sure like to not procrastinate.

I'd get more sleep if I didn't.

I like to sleep.

Edited: It is now 12am. I got it done. See, things do get done under the gun!

I'm pretty sure though I'm going to be pretty tired tomorrow.
