Quite Domestic Indeed

A few weeks ago I bought 30lbs of Granny Smith apples.
I had this idea that I was going to peel and
can me some apple pie filling.
Well today was the day I finally put on my
big girl panties and did it.
I only had 5 jars (so much for being prepared!) and
had some pie filling left over.
So I made some apple cobbler for us and some to give away.
I'm quite impressed with my mad skills because this
apple pie filling is DELISH!
I saw a recipe a while back and wanted to try it since
I've never done this before.
It was super easy.
If I can do it anyone can.
I promise you that!
Check it out here at Mommy's Kitchen.

Spirit Week

Today was crazy pajama day at school. Todd is such a funny boy. He didn't want to sleep in them because he was so afraid he'd get them dirty. I told him jammies don't get dirty from sleeping in them. Really, I just wanted my morning to run a little more smoothly and not have to worry about the clothes he was going to wear. Tricky huh?!? Monday was crazy hair day, Tuesday was crazy sock day, yesterday was crazy hat day, today pajama day and tomorrow is sport day.

We ran to Target last night because he had no jammies that fit him. Being the good mom I am I let him pick some out. The kids loves animals, so Rhino jammies it was!

Bryte came to play today too. These two played and colored. Don't tell his mom, but Kylee did all the work. I made cookies instead. Speaking of cookies...

don't these look delish? You can get the recipe at
Mood for Food, my recipe blog.

I was talking to Rocky today and he says he's ready to start his Masters program again. Hallefreakinlujah! The above quote is truly how he feels. I wish! But, he's gonna do it and I'm so happy for him, and me, but mostly him!
