Lake Powell Day Three

Mi Madrae decided to rent a jet ski for the day!

It was so fun!

Ready!!!

 Set!!!

Tube war...

It was knee slappin' funny watching them being tossed

all over and switchin' seats.

 Daily nap on the boat.

Not sure how kids can sleep like that!

Off for a scenic drive through the canyon.

So beautiful!

Now that's what I'm talkin' about!

We also found a cool cave to swim in and climb up the wall.

It got a little scary thinking about possibly falling and being like that guy from 127 Hours.

Lake Powell 2012 Day 2

Rocky and Bubs started day one with a killer tube ride!

Kamber didn't like seeing Rocky out on the tube at all!

Then it was the kid ride!

Todd was laughing so hard!

Abby and Kylee weren't quite as sure.

Skye crashed!

I think it's crazy that kids can sleep like this...esp on a boat!

Rocky, Todd and Kylee got tossed around a bit...

and Kamber finally decided she was ok with her

daddy being out there.

We found the perfect spot to cliff jump!

It had the perfect levels for crazies of all ages!

Even the the little kids were jumping off the high spot.

Go Alex, Nixon and Tiffany!

This level was a little safer, though Kylee jumped

several times from the higher spots.

Todd did as well, but the little stinker kept jumping before

I could grab a pic of him!

This is how we got my mom from the boat to the shore.

She's not one for getting wet!

We LOVE any kind of reunion shirt.

They turned out so cute!

Kamber would not go to sleep that first night so I ended up pulling out an old trick and it worked!

Nothing like swaddling a 25 lb toddler!

But she totally crashed in a matter of minutes.

Stayed turned for Day 2!

Beach~~~the last leg of Cali

While chillin in the car on the way to the beach we passed...

the San Diego Temple and I snapped a perfect shot, with my not so perfect camera.

I've been inside once.

It was beautiful!

I'd love to go back one day.

Moving on...

The beach was fun!

Kylee loves to be dirty and wasted no time making a sand angel.

On the way home we made a stop to my Aunt and Uncle's house.

There was food, fun, catching up, and hugs.

Thanks Aunt Caren and Uncle Tom for letting us come hang out for a while.

It was lots of fun even if Kylee acted like a weirdo when it was time to go.
(I will spare you all pics of that).

These 2 crashed out.

Imagine sleeping like that!

Yuck!

And this concludes our Cali trip.

It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to do it again in like 5 years.

Just DL and the beach, not the wedding. ;)
