Todd loves animals.
All kinds.
He wants to be a zoo keeper when he grows up.
But the thing is, he's allergic to animals.
Any kind with hair.
True story.
I feel so bad for him.
The only kinds of animals left for him to love are fish and turtles.
I don't do fish, so for his birthday we got him a turtle.
He's THRILLED to say the least.
Right away he named him.
Check out the name tag on the tank.
The other day he took Swimmie outside and made him another home.
He put water in a lid, made a mound in the middle with sand, and then let Swimmie float around in a sand toy.
He's already talking about his next birthday
when we can get Swimmie a friend.
He's already having too much fun!

If the turtle gets too smelly, you can always go with frogs.
Poor boy can't enjoy little furry creatures! Good thing you are a good mom and will buy him a turtle, I'd definately prefer fish!
So fun!! Yeah the fish I made for him in ceramics broke, lol!!
Thats awesome kasey! I think its brave of you... for some reason I cant touch turtles. We took the fish route :)
Can't wait to meet Mr. Swimmie. Todd is one cute 7 year old.
