My birfday

I turned 32 yesterday.

But I still feel 22.

Sometimes it seems like yesterday I was up in Thatcher at college.

It's hard to believe I have a husband and we've been married

11 years, I have 3 kids, and my oldest is 9.

Though my body does feel older than it did at 22, my mind doesn't.

And that's what counts!

I do have to say I'm liking where I am in my 30's.

My brother texted me the other day that being 30 sucks, but

I haven't minded it at all.

I have learned a lot over these last years and I think that's what has made my 30's so good.

I had a baby in my 30's.

I've made some of my best friends in my 30's.

I went on the Pioneer Trek in my 30's.

I started running in my 30's.

There have been more ups and downs than I can count in my 30's.

Each of these things have made me a stronger person and it's happened in my 30's.

So, happy birthday to me!

Almost Birthday Day

Kylee's birthday is tomorrow.

We didn't have a friend party this year for birthday's so I told Kylee she could invite 2 friends to the movies and to lunch.

Of course she picked good ole Mickey D's.

They all got Happy Meals and played in the play area.

 

Then we were off the the cheap movies.

We saw Gulliver's Travels.

We stopped and got treats at Wags so we were set!

The kids liked it.

Kamber didn't so her and I went to Penny's and I held her the whole time.

Happy almost birthday to my favorite almost 6 year old!

I was so excited to get a Bumbo when I had Kamber.

They didn't have them when Kylee was a baby.

So we got her one and she can almost twist out of it.

STINKER I tell ya!

 I made these yummy cupcakes for Todd's class.

They were a hit and I think they turned out cute.

Been watching too much Cupcake Wars and had to

frost them using an icing bag.

I actually went to 3 differant places before I found the

0-6 month ones.

And she barely even takes one.

But, I really needed a cute one.

And cute she is for sure.

Birthday boy!

I'm not quite sure how it happened, but this guy turned 8.

Last night we went to Kohls and he picked out a book and stuffed animal to match.

Then Grandma Garlock let him pick out his very own video at Costco, Alpha and Omega.

Tonight we're going to eat his favorite meal, spaghetti, and watch his new movie.

I love this guy to pieces!

I seriously can't believe how fast he's growing.

He'll be starting cub scouts next week.

Yep, I'm officially a cub mom.

My babe totally surprised me with a 30th birthday shindig!

There was lots of food.

Lots of drinks...soda's ya know.

And Rock Band baby!

I got my very own cake with 30 candles on it.

Don't hate.

I know I look hot.

Thanks Rocky for thinking of me on my big day.

Kylee's for reals birthday was on Sat. March 13th.

We went camping over the weekend so we had a little birthday party for her in the desert.

Today we celebrated Kylee's 5th birthday!

I can't believe my baby is 5!

We had a princess party.

All of her BFF's were there.

They colored, played Princess, Princess, Frog AKA Duck, Duck, Goose, opened gifts, ate cake, and they even got to put on make-up.

They all had a ball!

A lot of work, but a lot of fun!

Todd loves animals.

All kinds.

He wants to be a zoo keeper when he grows up.

But the thing is, he's allergic to animals.

Any kind with hair.

True story.

I feel so bad for him.

The only kinds of animals left for him to love are fish and turtles.

I don't do fish, so for his birthday we got him a turtle.

He's THRILLED to say the least.

Right away he named him.

The other day he took Swimmie outside and made him another home.

He put water in a lid, made a mound in the middle with sand, and then let Swimmie float around in a sand toy.

He's already talking about his next birthday

 when we can get Swimmie a friend.

He's already having too much fun!

Little stinker was up before I was, so this is his #7 morning birthday shot.

He's so excited to be 7.

I still can't believe how quickly time has gone.

Rocky turned 31.

I planned a little surprise staycay and took him out!

First we went to Harry Potter.

He had no idea.

Then I had dinner and dessert ready and waiting when we got home.

Saturday we went to Wicked.

Don't tell, but that was more for me than him.

Good thing he enjoyed it as much as me!

B-Days in the House!

We celebrated a bunch of April birthdays Saturday night at Texas Roadhouse.

It was a partay for sure!

Even though Shawna didn't feel good at all and didn't even eat, she was a trooper and let me take her picture and give her lots of birthday hugs.

Drewby let me give him hugs too just because.

On a side note, aren't my parents cute?!?

Birthday Bash

My birthday was so much fun. Friday night Rocky and I went to Texas Roadhouse with my family and his parents. I got to ride the saddle. Yee-Ha! But I forgot my camera. Dang it!

Saturday night I went out with a bunch of my girlfriends. We laughed and ate and got a delish Pazzookie!

I also realized I must be getting closer to 30.

I have never had dry or cracked feet.

Yesterday I noticed a crack on my toe and my heals getting dry.

Must have pedi's now weekly.

Kylee and her favorite mom for getting Biscuit the dog for her. She had been asking for this life like dog since Christmas. It's pretty pricey, so she didn't get it. After Christmas I found it on clearance for 75% off. So, I grabbed it. It's one of those toys she continued to ask for over and over. I'm so glad I was able to make her birthday so special!
