Dirty Work

Todd and Kylee were having fun toting Kamber 

 around in the Snugglie carrier. 

And Kamber totally let them drag her around like a rag doll.

She looks HUGE in that thing!

I'm thinking they are practicing to carry the new baby 

around for me.

Loving that I can get my big kids to do the dirty work for me! ;) 

Totally loving that they like to!

Feelin' Alive!

About a month ago our turtle Swimmie died.

(He was triple the size of this!)

The kids were crushed.

He was 2 years old.

Today we got a new one and they are thrilled!

He's 2 years old so I was thinking he'd be the size of our other turtle.

That was not the case!

This little guy is tiny for being 2 years old!

The kids are gonna sleep on it and decide in the morning what his name is going to be.

I've been calling him Tiny.

We shall see...

Easter Sunday

The Easter Bunny hid the kids baskets.

I wanted to record them finding them, but...

the big kids decided to get Kamber up, go downstairs, where they found their baskets and then came and woke us up to tell us the Easter Bunny came!

Sometimes you just go with it, right?

They all got jammies, the big kids got kites and more candy then they needed.

All

 dressed

and ready for church.

 Kamber ran over to this bike rack and it turned out to be a cute pic with all the kids.

It was also her first official day in nursery.

She's gone in twice before just the 3rd hour and did great.

This was no exception.

I kept trying to call her name so I could get a pic of her first day, and she wouldn't even turn around.

She had a ball!

I'm so thankful for my little family and for our Savior who made it possible for us to be together forever.

Big Ride

And this is why we love our daddy!

There was this one time...

we took a trip up North to the Turner cabin!!!!

 The kids played hard and built some sort of fort.

 It got stormy and hailed on us!

 The girls swang (is that a word) on the swing set.

And we went on this awesome nature walk where Kamber fell and scraped up her nose real good.

It was so much fun and we can't wait to go back!

Cuties in a Cup

I was closing some files that got left open on my computer

and found this little diddy.

How cute are they!

I honestly have no idea where this was taken.

Todd looks about 5ish and Kylee looks about 3ish.

I'm glad I found it today because it brought a huge smile to my face!

And then it made me miss when they were little.

Haboob!

 My kids got a front row seat to tonight's storm.

Wind, dust, lighting, then a light sprinkle.

So far this year's monsoon has been pretty bleak.

Maybe later we'll get some real rain.

This was the happiest I've seen Kamber all day.

Thank you haboob!

Pooped

After a long weekend of partying and playing hard, these three were sawing logs 10 minutes into the car ride home.

That almost never happens!

Happy 4th!!!!!

My 4th of July cuties!

I'm a lucky lady that I get to hang with these guys all day.

We spent the 4th swimming at my mom's.

Eating shredded beef burros.

And way too much junk!

Lighting fireworks and playing with sparklers.

Never a dull moment.
We totally missed Troy, Brooke, and their kids...
and Drew and Tiffany and their kids.
But I don't wanna talk about that.

Silly Sleepers

I've got some silly sleepers up in here!!!!

 Just chillin'.

 That can't be comfy!!!!

 What the?!?!?

And this one's not even mine!

But, I love em all!

No matter how they sleep...as long as they're asleep!

Easter Morn

 The kids loved their Easter baskets.

Todd got Legos and Kylee got a Barbie.

What the Easter bunny forgot though was a golden egg.

The Easter bunny didn't realize that
a golden egg was a must have.

I had high hopes for the cuteness of our Easter pic.

This is what I got.

It'll have to do.

They're makin' a list---I'm checkin' it twice

The big K-Mart toy catalog came in the Sunday's paper.

It kept these two entertained for a good long time...

Dreaming of all the fabulous gifts they wanted for Christmas.

They pretty much circled everything then started telling me the gifts that their friends would like.

Plus a few for their baby sister.

Hope Santa has room in his sleigh for everything.

Lucky One

Last night I was being lazy chillin' on the couch.

Kylee and Todd both came over and wanted to snuggle.

It couldn't have been sweeter till Kylee said,

"Mommy, we're two lucky kids."

I thought, "No, I'm the lucky one."

I sure hope there are more nights like this when life seems to be so crazy at times.

I know I need to slow down a little more often and enjoy my kids while they are little.

It's already going by so quickly and I don't ever want to miss moments like this.

Summer time!

Lawn is mowed.

Pool is up.

Summer has officially begun!

Kylee spent 6 hours outside yesterday.

She had a blast.

Todd joined her when he got out of school for a bit.

2 days left of school for Todd and outside fun in the sun is on!

We're excited to be gettin' our tan on again.

We celebrated at the park with pizza, chips,

capri suns, cookies, and fun with the cousins.

Lazy Sunday

Today Kylee barfed in her primary class.

I brought her home early in case it happened again.

She headed straight to the porcelain throne and repeated the earlier incident.

Atleast I didn't have to clean it up again. In a skirt!

We then changed into our jammies, had some lunch, and then headed upstairs for naps.

 Jammies at noon is so my kind of thing!

And this is why I love my camera!

Before we headed home tonight we stopped at our neighborhood Alby's for a fantastic deal on soda.

Those 24 packs make pretty sweet seats for my kids in the cart.

Then we headed home...down the long stretch of road out to BFE, where we live.

Some days I wonder why we chose that since there is really one way in and one way out.

While I was taking my test the kiddos swam and swam at my mom's house.

They were exhausted!

These two cuties CRASHED the minute was left TB.

Can you see the drool on Ky's chin?

She was so out!

And this one whined about being cold.

Good thing we teach our kids about problem solving because he tucked his legs in his shirt and then drifted off to sleep.

While they were visiting the Sand Man I was in a stand still due to an accident.

With the kids asleep and nothing to do...

I whipped out my camera and started to play.

First I'm happy that the kids are asleep.

Then I'm sad that I have no one to talk to.

As you can see, I got over it real quick and just started being silly.
Can you see the hangy ball in my throat?!?

GROSS!

Then I got hungry...and thirsty.

It was a drag being stuck, but I manged to enjoy myself.

Maybe a little too much!
