Happy 4th!!!!!

My 4th of July cuties!

I'm a lucky lady that I get to hang with these guys all day.

We spent the 4th swimming at my mom's.

Eating shredded beef burros.

And way too much junk!

Lighting fireworks and playing with sparklers.

Never a dull moment.
We totally missed Troy, Brooke, and their kids...
and Drew and Tiffany and their kids.
But I don't wanna talk about that.

Babies 1st Thanksgiving

The last several months I have been a bad picture taker.

Being pregnant and having a new baby I just can't seem to remember to take any.

This is what I got this year.

It'll have to do.

Tiffany, Drewby and Big Alex.

Tiffany and Drew are moving in a few weeks.

We're going to miss them tons!

I'm so sad, but excited for Drew to finally be able to finish school!

Memorial Day Part 2

Monday we headed to the Rent's house.

Grandma G'Lock went all out buying some fun toys for the pool and a rad slip-in-slide for the big boys.

And a real cute girl!

The slip-in-slide is actually a skim board doo-hickey thingy.

It was a hit and a ton of fun!

Last summer these cute bright flower suits were on clearance.

Naturally I had to get all the grand baby G'Lock girls matching ones.

Can you tell Kylee was my favorite child on this day?

I love them equally.

I didn't do a good job taking pictures on Monday.

That is so not like me!

My Grampi and Ann came and hung out too.

It was a lot of fun despite my lack of pictures!

Again, good food, company and Ling-O-L.

Memorial Day Part 1

We were going to head out of town, but since it had been raining I was worried it would be too muddy to camp. We decided to keep close to home and have a BBQ with friends instead.

Steaks, dogs, swimming, soda, and ice cream was just what we needed!

We love hanging out with the Hunts!

Who needs a fancy pool? All ya need is a cheap plastic pool under the slide on the playset outside.

Goggles were a must this summer. Aren't my bugs cute?

Mother's Day

We had a fun Mother's Day! I'm glad I got to spend it with all my favorite moms!

Cousin Kassie, my Grami, me, my sister Shawna, my Mom, my SIL Tiffany, and my Auntie Darla.

Here are a few of the midgets of some of the moms I love.

They played out back and got so grubby and dirty.

Only a mom can truly love faces like that!

I truly love being a mom, even though it's hard...like a lot hard!

My kids are my joys in life.

They make me laugh, cry, wanna throw things sometimes.

I love their kisses, their snuggles, the cute pictures they draw me.

Even when they say my butt is big and pat my tummy and say I'm having a baby.

We have fun everyday! They crack me up, they crack each other up.

The ups and downs of motherhood is sometimes more than I bargained for, but I know in the end they will be my friend for much longer than they were crazy kids.

I can't wait for that and these childhood years will be a mere memory!

I'm glad they chose me to be their mom.

I could not have asked for better kids.

Saturday Festivities

My parents had the Easter Bunny attend their ward party.

My kids were freaked out. My nephew Jakob wouldn't even go near him and Kylee was in tears.

They finally realized it was really Uncle Drewby and warmed up. Jakob was still unsure, but stood there for a picture.

Drewby was such a good sport to do that. It was hot inside that costume!

Then we headed to the Turner's for a BBQ and an Easter egg hunt.


The kids colored the eggs first. Jace sucked the color off of his. Delish!

Jakob, Bradon and Kylee got their sofa train on. Then Bradon and Kylee danced around to some old school Journey. It was a pretty good day!

Bringin' in the New Year!

We are always looking for reasons to party! New Years always kicks it off!

The Hunts came. We played some games, sang a little karaoke, learned some new vocabulary.

Made some noise of course! And let's make some noise for my single friend, Brandi. Know any single boys?

All this partying made my man tired!

We did miss those that could not come and those who went to bed by 10pm. You know who you are!

Christmas

This post is more for me than you. So, here's Christmas forever ago!

A picture says a thousand words! The kids were so excited for new jammies. Can't ya tell? Todd got some undies and says, "Underwear?!?!" with a very questioning and silly grin on his face. Some things are very important.

Santa brought Todd an activity and art center and Kylee got this cute red kitchen set.

I made Rocky a picture collage to put on his desk at work. It was the kids and me. I think he liked it! What do you think?

I got a Chi and hair product. I don't know what I did before a Chi! I LOVE it. Thanks babe.
